CherryPharm cherry drink is a shelf-stable ready-to-drink juice that does not require refrigeration prior to opening. However, we do recommend storing unopened bottles in the refrigerator whenever possible to preserve the potency of fragile cherry phyto-nutrients.

Tart cherries are acidic by nature and by definition, tart. By adding a small amount of apple juice we greatly improve the taste while not diminishing the proven benefits of the cherries in our juice. We always start with whole cherries (not from concentrate) and take great measures to retain the maximum amounts of cherry phyto-nutrients with our innovative juice extraction and pouring technique - each bottle is the equivalent of 50 whole tart cherries. So by adding apple juice, we can greatly improve the taste without affecting the efficacy of our juice.

We are meticulous about delivering the freshest and most powerful juice possible. While our juice is shelf-stable for up to a year from date of production, nutrient value will diminish if left in the heat and/or light of warehouses and/or on store shelves for extended periods of time. That's why we manufacture our own juice and ship directly to the consumer - to ensure the freshest and highest quality juice.

Tart cherries are a short season crop and receive minimal pesticide treatment. And unlike sweet cherries which get sold at retail, tart cherries do not require additional pesticide treatments to maintain shelf-life and glossy appeal. Our suppliers practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which is a holistic approach to farming that strives to use natural methods and pesticides to a minimum.

Drink 1 to 2 8 fl. oz. bottle(s) of our all-natural 100% fruit juice daily to protect, fortify and restore. The powerful health benefits found naturally in tart cherries are clinically proven to protect muscles, lessen pain, and speed recovery in athletes. In order to get the proven benefits of CherryPharm, it will be important to drink at least one bottle everyday.

Each bottle of CherryPharm is the equivalent of approximately two servings of fruit  nutritional experts recommend 5  9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. Based on a RDA 2200 calorie per diet, one bottle of CherryPharm is approximately 5% of total caloric intake and the sugars are naturally occurring (no added sugar). Also, with regards to carbohydrates, drinking CherryPharm is similar to consuming whole cherries with a variety of health benefit while also being a low glycemic index fruit. Separately, our clinical trials have shown that regular consumption of CherryPharm can have a medicinal effect (see British Journal of Sports Medicine, Connolly et al 2006).
